November was an exciting month for Forests Without Frontiers – we completed our first plantation of 15,000 trees high in the Făgăraș Mountains in Carpathia.
Our advisor, Fran Southgate, writes about tree planting:
“Since the climate crisis came to the fore in the media last year, there has been a huge push to find simple, easy to deliver initiatives which can help us to rapidly store carbon. One of the easiest things to do, which could have widespread benefits in a relatively short period of time, is to plant trees. “
Today we began our autumn plantation in the Carpathian mountains, Romania. Thanks to your generous support, we are planting 15,000 trees.
