We need to get planting trees this November…
Our new fundraising campaign is live! With twenty days to go we have already raised a massive £70k and with your continued sharing and support to the campaign, we hope to raise the final ten thousand pounds needed to get our team planting 25,000 saplings this autumn in the Carpathians.
Whilst these are difficult times for everyone, it is important that we still do what we can for our forests: our great forests help shield us from pandemics and help us address climate change. And as David Attenborough urges in his latest documentary A Life on Our Planet we need to reforest and rewild the earth to survive.
Please help us reach our goal of planting 50,000 trees by the end of the year by donating whatever you can – every £2 plants one tree. We plant native species, expanding the natural habitat for wildlife, and employ local people to work on our plantations.
Our baby saplings are in the nursery and the team is ready to start planting in the first few weeks of November - we’re hoping Nico can get out there on the mountain to be with our Romanian friends this autumn. More on that later…
